For the woman who framed the newspaper the day the glass ceiling cracked, this is the piece for the shelf beside it. A portrait laser engraved deep inside solid optical crystal in fine three-dimensional detail, sharp from every angle and lit from within when set on a base. As the first woman, and the first Black and South Asian woman, to serve as Vice President, she is a milestone worth marking in something that lasts. The design is ready-made, so there is no photo to upload, and a name, a date, or a short line can be engraved with it. It makes a gift for a daughter, a lifelong feminist, a supporter, or anyone who wants that history on the desk. Set it on the black or rosewood light base and it glows on a shelf, a mantel, or a bookcase.
Optional Light Base An LED light base is available separately in Black or Rosewood to make the engraving easier to see in any room, especially in brightly lit spaces where it can be harder to spot without backlighting. It runs on AAA batteries or the included USB adapter, with light settings ranging from a warm stationary white to a color-changing red, green, and blue display.
